Head Coach: Ricky Hegner

I’m a recent college graduate in the field of Bioengineering.  I’ve been a part of swimming for 11 years and it has taken me around the US and to another country.  My favorite events include the 100 and 200 fly, and the 200 free. My favorite part about Gators is having a team that will support you in every event you swim at every meet, which makes it so much fun!  I am so excited to be coaching this year and hope to make it a great year!”

I am a graduate from Fresno Pacific University where I was on the inaugural swimming and water polo teams. While competing, my favorite events were the 100 Backstroke, 100 Butterfly, 200 I.M., and the medley relays. Since I have spent the majority of my life involved with competitive swimming, I have gained the great privilege of learning ideas and methods from very talented coaches. This knowledge and experience I look forward to bringing to this year’s Galt Gators swim team. GO GATORS!!!!

Assistant Coach:  Andres Ramos

Hey, Coach Ramos here! I am looking forward to return this season and I hope everyone is ready to have a fun and rewarding season! A little about me, I swam for about 10 years with various teams including Gators and I have been coaching Gators since the fall of 2014. My favorite event is the 500 free and I do enjoy open water swimming from time to time. I’m also currently a full time college student. I can’t wait for everyone to work hard at every practice and to achieve their goals. So get those goggles, sun block bottles and caps ready because the Gators are back!
